Thian Agri Manufacturing Ltd is based in Southbridge, a small rural town 30km south of Christchurch in Canterbury, New Zealand.
Managed by Lindsay and Karen Thian, the company specialises in the design and manufacture of seed drills. Thian Agri are current members of the CMA (Canterbury Manufacturers Association) and CECC (Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce).

Thian Seed Drills
The company was founded in October 2002 and has emerged as a direct result of Lindsay's
33 years of contracting and farming experience. Having planted hundreds of paddocks with many varieties of seeds over the years on drills he had fine-tuned to improve results, Lindsay saw a gaping hole in the design of seed drills available.
Although Lindsay himself has a strong engineering background, he uses a team of qualified mechanical engineers and the latest in computer-aided design tools to ensure the most consistent results are achieved.
The concept of the Thian seed drill is a modular frame with modular components - the result of 17 months of R&D and prototyping. Any drill can be built on the one standard frame, and allows for tine spacing of 100mm or 150mm.
Options include both linkage and trailed models, seed only, seed and fert, end-tow and disc kits. Refer to the product overview for detailed information.
